Our role

We are not another middleman.

We are not a freight company. We are not an importer. We are not a generic middleman. We are your international business development team — commercial representation, sourcing and market connection across Spain, China and Canada.

Three connection lines — not a single way in.

One single point of contact manages representation, sourcing and verification.

We report with the same discipline you'd expect from an in-house department.

Why SGI

What a conventional commercial agent usually doesn't offer.

Three lines, one team

Representation, sourcing and the Canada connection under the same verification standard — we don't pick just one side of the business.

Transparency

Clear, honest information at every stage — no last-minute surprises, no figures we can't back up.

Adaptability

Agile response to dynamic markets and changing conditions.

Legal compliance

Absolute respect for applicable national and international regulation.

Verification before commitment

We don't trust catalogues: we verify before your production or your representation is committed.

Single point of contact

One team manages representation, sourcing, verification and follow-up.

Frequently asked questions

Before you write to us, this might already answer it.

Can't find your question? Write to us directly.

Is SGI a freight or logistics company?

No. SGI is an international business development partner: we represent manufacturers, help companies find suppliers, and connect commercial opportunities across Spain, China and Canada. Logistics is a supporting service within that work, not our core activity.

What makes SGI different from a traditional commercial agent?

Most agents pick one side: they represent manufacturers or they represent buyers. SGI has both funnels, plus a third connection line with Canada — with the same verification standard across all three.

Do you represent manufacturers in Spain without them opening an office?

Yes — that's our Commercial Representation line. We assess regulatory fit, find the first qualified customers, and manage the commercial relationship in Spain without the manufacturer needing to open a local office.

Which countries do you work with for manufacturing and sourcing?

We manage sourcing and representation primarily in China, plus Vietnam, India, Turkey, Morocco and the UAE depending on the project, with Spain and Canada as destination and connection markets.

What does SGI do in Canada?

We connect Canadian companies with Spanish or Chinese manufacturers and suppliers, and help Spanish and Chinese companies find importers and distributors in Canada. We're not a freight company in Canada — we identify, verify and facilitate the commercial contact.

How is quality guaranteed before you commit to a purchase?

We apply documented verification at the critical points: the supplier's legal and financial standing, during-production inspection and, where applicable, pre-shipment inspection with a photo report before cargo is authorized.

Do you also handle transport and customs?

Yes, as a supporting service within Sourcing & Trading: we coordinate documentation, Incoterms and customs clearance with agents at origin and destination so the operation arrives without avoidable holds.
